Want to Support African-American Homeownership? 

Tomorrow is GiveNOLA Day! This is your chance to support the African-American homeowners of the Lower 9th Ward. Your gift will support our new Campaign to Preserve Homeownership. It's our goal to ensure that no resident loses their home for lack of access to appropriate services. After all the obstacles they've overcome to get back into their homes, it's the least we can do. The least we, as a country, can do. You don't even have to wait until tomorrow! SCHEDULE YOUR GIFT TODAY!! Your credit card will be charged on Tuesday and your donation will qualify for a matching gift added by the Greater New Orleans Foundation. Thank you so much for your ongoing support.

His method was to shake the moral conscience of good-hearted people - then and now a majority of the country - by opening their eyes to the injustice that had been going on for so long it appeared to be part of the order of things.
